On 29 October, the House of Commons Health Committee heard oral evidence from Dr Peter Fisher (Royal London Hospital for Integrated Medicine) and Prof George Lewith (University of Southampton) who gave excellent accounts of the scientific evidence for homeopathy and CAM in this context. During the hearing David Tredinnick MP spoke of a recent “sea change” in homeopathy research, with a lot of new research being carried out, as demonstrated by HRI’s 1st International Homeopathy Research Conference held in Barcelona this summer.
